My work explores the relationship between identity, memory, resilience and legacy.

As a visual artist working across photography, sculpture and life casting, I am interested in preserving the moments that define who we are. My practice is built on the belief that art can become a lasting record of our experiences—capturing not only how we look, but who we are and the stories we carry.

Throughout my artistic journey I have been drawn to themes of vulnerability, healing and human connection. Projects such as Individuality is Beauty, which explored anxiety through life-cast masks, T.O.T. – Vulnerability to Empowerment, which transformed my own experiences into sculptural works, and What My Breasts Mean to Me, where twenty-seven women shared deeply personal reflections on body image and identity, have reinforced my belief that art has the power to create understanding and meaningful conversation.

Photography has shown me that images become part of a family's legacy. One of the greatest privileges of my career was photographing a young mother living with terminal cancer, creating memories that would become an enduring gift for her children. Later, after my own mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer, I created a life cast of my parents' hands held together—an artwork that preserved not only their connection but the love they shared.

These experiences transformed the direction of my practice and inspired the creation of Legacy Impressions, an evolving body of work that combines photography, sculpture and storytelling to preserve life's most meaningful moments. Through life casting and visual art, I seek to create spaces where people feel safe to share their stories and celebrate their identity with dignity, compassion and authenticity.

Whether creating a portrait, a sculpture, or a life cast, my intention is never simply to document a person. My aim is to create artwork that honours their journey, preserves their legacy and reminds them that their story matters.

I believe art has the power to heal, connect generations and ensure that the moments we treasure most are never forgotten.
