Milford Sounds
We had a early start to begin our journey towards Te Anau. Decided to have a look at the Clifton Lime works, but decided not to stop as there was heavy rain. As we headed towards Fiordland the weather began to clear. We had a few random photography stops along the way. After a bite to eat the group decided to go photograph Mirror lakes and Eglinton Valley.

Location: Situated in Fiordland National Park, along the Milford Road (State Highway 94)
It was just a small group of photography enthusiasts from the intermediate WEA night class. But everyone just chatted and encouraged each other.

How lucky is it to meet amazing people who are like minded and have the passion and drive to learn photography and see the world through a photographers perspective. I love every minute of it and get to go on some amazing adventures.

After a few photo opportunities we decided why not head to Milford Sound. When we arrived it was a lovely warm wind that kept the sandflies at bay.
