The moulding material is non-toxic and sets within minutes. Does it hurt? Not at all. Most people describe it as a cool sensation while the mould sets. How long does it take? Most hand-casting appointments take between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the number of people or pets being cast. Can children be cast? Absolutely. We recommend babies from around 6 months for hand casts, although feet can often be cast younger depending on the project. Can pets be cast? Yes. Calm, well-handled pets are welcome for paw casts.
